Connexité – Installation vidéo interactive en espace public
Connexité est une projection architecturale interactive développée avec Patrick St-Denis, où des mots issus de discours politiques — souvent emprunts de langue de bois — tombent du haut de l’écran pour épouser en temps réel la silhouette des passants, détectée par une caméra Kinect. Présentée sur un mur d’édifice au centre-ville de Gatineau, l’installation transforme l’espace urbain en une interface critique entre langage politique et corps citoyen.

Connexité is an interactive architectural projection developed with Patrick St-Denis, where words drawn from political discourse—often marked by empty rhetoric—fall from the top of the screen to dynamically mould themselves in real time to the silhouettes of passersby, detected via a Kinect camera. Displayed on a building wall in downtown Gatineau, the installation transforms urban space into a critical interface between political language and the citizen’s body.
